Cluj-Napoca – Surdesti – Sapanta – Poienile Izei – Cluj-Napoca
Start at 08:00am. Drive over Baia Mare to Surdesti Village where we visit the tallest old wooden church in Romania. Drive over the spectacular Gutin Pass to Sapanta to visit the colourful Merry Cemetery. In the afternoon, we visit the secluded village of Poienile Izei with its small UNESCO wooden church. We also visit a pottery workshop in the area before we drive back to Cluj-Napoca.
